What can I enquire about?

  • **Thrombosis-related calls should be directed to the Specialist Link thrombosis tele-advice service
  • Mild and/or chronic CBC abnormalities, which includes mild increases or decreases to Hg, platelet, WBC or any combination of the three cell lines
  • Advice re hemoglobinopathy results, especially, sickle cell or thalassemia trait
  • Easy bruising/bleeding
  • Interpretation of coagulation studies
  • Interpretation of SPEP or free light chain assays
  • Interpretation of iron studies and hematological malignancies
