  • Complications related to pain procedures or analgesic therapy or any questions about the appropriate course of action
  • Perioperative or anesthetic care

  • Reassurance regarding planned intervention

More details

Non-urgent advice is available if a patient has special needs in planning perioperative care, needle phobia, anxiety/PTSD or a history of addiction, the patient should be referred to the anesthesia consult clinics for review and possible referral to the transitional pain service.
